Win a signed copy of ‘The Official Ahimsa Dog Training Manual’

Summer is here (hurray!) and at Happy Hounds we’re feeling especially happy and in a generous mood (it’s amazing what the sun can do to us in Britain)…

We’ve been privileged enough to work with Grisha Stewart, the author of The Official Ahimsa Dog Training Manual, at a number of her UK seminars and Grisha’s wonderful book is the reason for our August Giveaway.

The Official Ahimsa Dog Training Manual

‘The Official Ahimsa Dog Training Manual: A Practical, Force-Free Guide to Problem Solving & Manners’ (to give it its full title), is a great introduction to dog training.  It originally started out as the companion guide to the exercises from classes at Ahimsa Dog Training in Seattle.

The book explains a range of practical exercises that start from a basic level and work up through advanced work on the most important behaviours for dogs to know.

It is a  quick, but thorough guide  and is helpful for families with dogs, for dog trainers to share with clients (and to read themselves!) and for breeders to share with new puppy parents.
